Mrs. Knight's Graduation Celebration
On Thursday, June 3, the NSYC/Shallaway Alumni Association would like to invite you all to an event celebrating Mrs. Knight's retirement from her position as Artistic Director of Shallaway. This Wine & Cheese will be an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with Mrs. Knight and to show our appreciation for her dedication to the choir over the years.
As part of Mrs. Knight's retirement, the choir will be creating a Susan Knight Legacy Fund to provide permanent support for several core programs of the choir that best represent Susan's values and the choir's spirit. The program will support the following programs: The Choral Scholarship Program, The Bursary Program, Our Commissioning and Recording Program and the new position of Artistic Director Emeritus, as new position that Mrs. Knight will occupy.
In order to support this very worthwhile venture, we would like to be able to offer an alumni donation. To do this we will be charging $20 for a ticket to the Wine & Cheese, you will receive a tax receipt for $15 of this amount.
