Camerata

Camerata is the most senior and experienced ensemble of SHALLAWAY, and is widely recognized as being in that elite small circle of the finest youth choirs in the world. Camerata tours nationally and/or internationally on an annual basis.  Singers in this group are expected to continue to improve their sight singing and aural abilities fairly independently, while continuing their choral development.  There is an increased emphasis on the responsibility of the older, more experienced singers to act as mentors to younger, developing choristers through sensitivity, encouragement and demonstrated leadership.  The previous emphasis on community, independence, and culture is broadened and deepened.
